Hello Vincent Tosca Families!

I have found some simple crafts using toilet paper rolls. I wanted to use something that was already in your house but could make the activity more interesting. I have included instructions and pictures below. 

El primer oficio es muy simple pero extremadamente divertido. Su hijo puede usar pinturas o crayones para convertir el rollo de papel higiénico en sus personajes o animales favoritos. The first craft is very simple but extremely fun. Your child can use paints or crayons to turn the toilet paper roll into their favorite characters or animals. The options are endless and their artwork can be used as dolls or action figures after they are finished. If you have paper in your house, your child can also add on paper attachments (such as ears or wings). Here are some examples - my favorite is the Minions!

Push two side of the toilet paper roll inwards to make pointed ears for an animal.

The next craft involves paint and a piece of paper. The toilet paper roll will be turned into a stamp. Your child can use the toilet paper roll to make a circle stamp or they can cut one end of the roll to create a different effect. Your child can also bend the roll to create a different shape.The toilet paper roll must only be cut at one end - the cuts must continue around the tube - cut pieces must be bent outwards after the cutting is complete. I have shared pictures with different example of how your child can but the toilet paper roll. This craft has no rules but to be creative. 

      

      




El arte final es hacer un castillo. Esta manualidad necesita cinta adhesiva o pegamento, una caja de cereal vacía (o cualquier caja de cartón vacía) y algunos rollos de papel higiénico. Hay muchas formas de completar esta nave, ya que puedes organizar tu castillo de la forma que quieras. Esta nave también puede cambiar dependiendo de las cajas vacías que tenga en su casa. Su hijo puede apilar cajas para levantar el castillo y agregar rollos de papel higiénico alrededor para hacer torres. Su hijo también puede decorar su castillo con pintura o crayones. The final craft is to make a castle. This craft needs tape or glue, an empty cereal box (or any empty cardboard box) and a few toilet paper rolls. There are many ways to complete this craft as you can arrange your castle anyway you like. This craft can also change depending on what empty boxes you have in your house. Your child can stack boxes to raise the castle and add toilet paper rolls around the outside to make towers. Your child can also decorate their castle with paint or crayons. Here are some examples.
